What is Vera compatible with?
Vera z-wave controllers are compatible with brands you already use like GE, Sonos, Honeywell, and Nest many others.
What is Vera device?
The Vera hub is a controller mainly for connecting to Z-Wave devices. The supported Vera hubs (Edge, Plus and Secure) are no longer available and the firmware is not being actively enhanced by the vendor. New Z-Wave devices are not directly supported and so are not easy to add to the platform.

As a result, we currently have no plans to manufacture more of them, but as noted, our new controllers will have all the same capabilities, along with faster processors, new features, and a state-of-the-art platform. I am sorry to say that currently, the Ring App has not been designed for, nor can control/manage, 3rd party video cameras. The Ring App is designed to control the Ring Alarm system (Intruder Alarm System) and the Ring Video Security Cameras and Ring Video Doorbells (Surveillance System).
